1. Overview of the Sixth Heavenly Plate

Liunontianpan is an ancient tool used for prediction and forecasting. It consists of six ring-shaped disks, each of which is engraved with different symbols and words used to represent different elements such as the Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches and Five Elements. By arranging these symbols and words, various predictions can be made.

In the process of using it, first convert the time to the lunar calendar and determine the field (e.g. marriage, career, etc.) to which the question sought belongs, and then, according to the corresponding rules, arrange the symbols on the celestial disks and interpret the results according to their positions.

2. Historical origins of the Sixth Heavenly Plate

Liunan originated in the Han Dynasty and was recorded in the Huainanzi. By the time of Tang Dynasty, it had developed into a complete system and was widely used in political z decision-making and daily life.

Over time, multiple versions began to be derived during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. One of them is the famous and influential version of Taiyi Jinhua Purpose.

3. Liunontianpan and Yin-Yang and Five Elements

In Liunan Tianpan, Yin and Yang are very important concepts. Among them, yin and yang represent two opposite but complementary aspects, such as male and female, sun and moon, etc.; and the five elements are gold, wood, water, fire and earth.

When using the Liunan Tianpan, you need to determine the corresponding Yin-Yang and Five Elements attributes based on the area the problem belongs to and the time of day, and take them into consideration when placing the symbols. This will lead to more accurate predictions.

4. Liunontianpan and numerology

As Liunan Tianpan can be used to predict the fate issues such as good fortune, bad luck and misfortune in life, it has a close relationship with traditional numerology.

In the process of using it, one needs to determine one's four pillars and eight characters based on the year, month, day and hour of birth, and convert them into the corresponding stem and branch elements. The symbols are then placed on the sky disk and the results interpreted, taking into account the yin and yang, the five elements and the problem area sought.

5. Modern Applications

Despite the extremely high level of modern technology, there are still many people who maintain a strong interest in traditional culture and the art of prediction. Therefore, in some specific occasions (such as weddings, openings, etc.), Liunan Tianpan is still widely used.

In addition, some traditional culture enthusiasts also learn the essence and profundity of traditional culture by studying and using Liunan Tianpan.
